The school is situated in a conservation area and has extensive grounds and mature trees. It includes a large playing field, two hard court play surfaces and a small pond area.
Special provision is made for pupils with special needs, for the able children and those with learning difficulties.
Children's happiness at break and lunchtime are of the utmost importance. To cater for all tastes, lunchtime supervisors and teachers provide a range of clubs and activities.
We offer all pupils in the upper school a firm grounding in French.
The school is extensively networked and boasts its own computer suite, recently upgraded, enabling regular access by pupils.
A new range of interactive white-boards allows ICT to be delivered in all classrooms.
Collective worship is held on a daily basis. Worship is led by staff, people from the local community and by the children themselves. Parents are invited to attend any form of collective worship in which the school participates. Parents do have the right to withdraw their children from RE or collective worship if they so wish.
